Great fast and friendly service. Ice cold Draft Beer priced including the tax.
Best beer price in town and the pints are full measure.
Great pub food - love the deep fried pickles.
Great wings as well.
Great old style pub comfy in the "cheers" style.
Specialty Hot Dogs are a real treat. and priced right.
One of the few places left with NTN trivia.
Great sports bar with lots of screens for your favourite games.

Disappointing

Went there today with my friends. I had fish that was raw!!! Also had mussels that were strong tasting suggesting they were "off". Pointed this out to waitress who said they would check with the the supplier but did nothing about my food! My friend who asked what was in the salad dressing because she has alergies was brushed of with the comment "the chef will not even tell me"! Incredible in this day and age.
Overall not good or safe food hence a poor value with a large douse of bad service and attitude.
Pretty much a place to avoid as there are much better coices along the beach.

Over priced draft beer!

I will not comment on the food other than to say AVERAGE.
In a pub that is not bad BUT to have overpriced beer and AVERAGE food is unforgiveable. NORMAL pubs include the HST in the menu price for drinks - NOT HERE!! What they call a pint s/b 20oz is actually a short sleeve less than 16oz. So a $4.99 "pint" becomes a $5.58 (short) pint - the word"rip-off" comes to mind.
Check real pubs like Sawbuck's to see the difference!
