visited there last week with my family and friends.. really enjoyed the Halal Food and atmosphere. We got there around 9:15 on Sunday night and they accommodated us (10 ppl) happily, in fact by the time we finished our meal it was already quarter past 10 and they usually close at 10 pm. staff didn't show any urgency for us to leave. menu is pricey but for sure have some taste. I liked their attitude and food both. will definitely visit them again. This is best Halal Restaurant in Mississauga Must visit..
So we order pizza from this pizza pizza location normally because we work here at the office, so. 3 weeks ago we made a $50 order on pizza, and this same gentleman was 8 Minutes over 40mins, so 48mins, but as we all know the pizza is free after 40mins pass. So he arrives and I tell him our food is free, so he made it a huge issue, he started raging and yelling "Pay for it or im taking it back" so we had to pay for it. Today he delivered it about 5 mins early, was only a $20 order, he took my debit card when I was paying and acted like I was obligated to give him a tip, very rude. Told him straight up, "No Tip, Sorry", then he asked me again. Don't want this guy to deliver to me anymore!!!!!
We came to Pizza ten quite often which located in heartland when we usually go for shopping with family.
My children love their tandori chicken and cheese pizza.
As well as authentic halal food! with fresh ingredients! Thanks pizza ten team pizza excellent customer care and cooking.
I would highly recommend this neighbourhood authentic pizzeria
Here you get pure Indian taste. Bombay grill are famous for their spicy and delicious Indian taste and attainable service at pocket friendly price. Whether to eat snack on one of Bombay’s famous appetizers or simply savoring a delicious meal, spiced to your liking, Bombay Bhel is a sure hit to please anyone’s palate. I would like to suggest you once visit Bombay Bhel restaurant Mississauga.
great place foe authentic tasting Lahori Pakistani foods. We ordered mutton pulao, chicken seekh kebab, paya and chicken tikka and fish, their nihari and haleem are also good, prices are reasonable. The place is not very big, but big enough to set about 45 people comfortabley and it has a homely atmosphere and food is great and the staff are friendly and helpful.
I like this restaurant because it was clean and food is very tasty. Hot special was really good, They have lots of options for lunch.
Very good services and friendly environment. I like their chicken ceasar wrap and pannini is awesome. I like to go back again and again
Nice place to relax and be with friends, play cards, snack and listen to music. A great place to overcome nostalgia and your craving for Middle Eastern atmosphere. Service is friendly, and because its a family owned business, you feel at home. They do their best to make you feel welcome and you can ask for anything and they will try to accommodate your wishes.
I decided to take my wife and daughter to Montfort, I use to frequent the Oakville and Mississauga locations in the late '90s.
I don't think this Mississauga location is under the same ownership anymore.
1. Our sleeves were sticking to the table surface
2. There is no running water in the bathroom, which also was filthy
3. No Visa or Debit accepted
4. Calamari and Onion Ring cooked to a crisp, bun and hamburger patty blackened
If the meal for us three had cost 1/2 of what it did, I'd feel less betrayed.
This Montfort is a 4/10 at best. just a greasy spoon with nothing special to offer, a real disappointment.
This is my new go-to place for really good pizza at a really great price. I ordered online through their website at pizzanopizza.com. They have an unlimited topping pizza which is ONLY $15 and it's exactly as it sounds. You get an XL pizza with ANY toppings of your choice for $15. It's probably the best deal in Mississauga. I got the pizza in under 30 mins. They offer debit on delivery, which is great! The pizza had all of the toppings that I asked for (6 meat and 7 veggie toppings) and they don't skimp, either. They threw in a free dip (creamy garlic, yum!). Overall, I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who wants great value at a great price!
Okay, I have been to this restaurant a few times for lunch and loved it! Delicious and hearty portions. I had a burrito once and a chicken quesadilla and they were amazing! BUT, I went there today and ordered tacos. I swear the meat in those tacos were rancid, the beef and pork. The meat tasted like barnyard animals and it was sour. Something was wrong with it. When I brought it to the head cook to let him know something was wrong with their meat, I got this reaction: "What do you want me to do about it?" "Do you want a take-out container so you can take it to your dog? Do you want me to throw it away? What do you want from me?" Well that totally threw me off. I had to let the cook know something was wrong with the food he was serving everyone that day, and he couldn't care less. He seemed offended I brought up the issue.
Let's put it this way, I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN. How can a restaurant serve nasty rancid meat and then be rude with the customers who mention it to them? Just bad customer service and bad food safety. STAY AWAY FROM HERE.
I've been going here for 3 years and absolutely love the food. Their white sauce pizza is to die for. It's unlike any other pizza I've ever tried. The toppings are generous and the prices cannot be beat. They have a pizza where you can put ANY number of toppings for only $15. They are also halal, which is great! The place is take-out only, but it is pretty cosy. Overall, I'd recommend this pizza to anyone looking for great value and amazing quality!
You pay more than Paramount or Acacia, but you get bad food, more expensive prices, cheap chairs and small place that's not good to dine in!
Moreover, the menu is not accurate in description or prices, so you end up eating whatever they give you, and pay whatever they tell you!
My family has been to Leao D’Ouro a few times now because the food is very good for the value, so we decided to go there with the rest of the family before the grandparents left for Portugal. It was a Saturday night and there were 18 of us and we all left with the same thought; the food was mostly good but the service was horrible.
We made 3 separate orders of wine before we chose one that was in stock. The restaurant should think of updating their wine list, or inform the waiters which bottles are out of stock.
When pouring the wine, the waiter would spill droplets all over the table and on us. He either didn’t notice or didn’t care enough to apologize. I wasn’t having wine that evening and I now have a red wine stain on my blouse.
The waiter never came around to ask us if we were ok with our drinks, wanted another or if we were enjoying our meals. The manager was also nowhere to be found. Typically managers of a restaurant will come around to check on a table, especially large parties. I guess they don’t care if you’re enjoying your evening or not.
When it came time to ordering dessert it all went further downhill…
The majority of the table ordered the chocolate mousse. The waiter began serving our dessert orders, distributing only 2 orders of mousse, returned to inform the rest of the table that they were out. The children who ordered the mousse and were not able to have it were upset at the 2 people at the table that were served the mousse. They were also upset to see the table beside us receive orders of chocolate mousse later. The waiter should have either informed us beforehand that they were out, or he should have let us know that there were only 2 orders of mousse left and so that we could decide who would have it.
The other dessert item that we ordered was the Natas Do Ceu. Luckily they had enough to fill our order, unfortunately 3 of them were were raw and runny and had to be sent back. I’ve had the Natas Do Ceu there before, I know how it should taste and what the texture should be like. We replaced them with 2 orders of chocolate cake and cheesecake. I realized there was Crème Brule on the menu, and asked the waiter to change the order, and he rolled his eyes at me! He returned with chocolate cake and told me there was no more Crème Brule.
To top it all off, HE CHARGED US for the three Natas Do Ceu that we sent back.
I don’t understand why our table was treated this way, the meal went on one bill we didn’t complain nor gave him a difficult time for the quality of the service which he provided us with. We were looking forward to that evening and it’s unfortunate that our expectations were not met. I would not recommend having a large party at this restaurant.
I love coming to Paramount because it reminds me of my father who used to love coming here. We would always go to share a chat over food, and since middle eastern was his favorite, we would come here.
I would not know what to call this place because it is not a diner but it is not so fancy either. Also the way in which you get your food is strange. I mean picture this: you come first and wait to be seated. Normal until now right ? But then you have to go and ask for your food at the counter ! So it is like fast food style. You get complimentary pita while you wait for your food which is nice. And dislike other places here they actually give you for large free stuff. My advice is to eat the pita with hummus. It becomes just yum.
Prices are kind of off because of the style of service (go and order yourself) but the food is good. The chicken shawarma is delicious ! For drinks get the juices for example the paramount special, they are quite fresh.
I have tried california sandwiches here a couple of times, but the last time just had it for me. I really love the steak and veal sandwich from here but the service is always leaving me thinking maybe i should go somewhere else ? People who work here do not know how to treat a customer ! I have worked before in a restaurant so I know what it is like. Here when you step in it is like they dont want you to come. Always very in different and cold, barely answer. Really rude.
I will not be coming back here...mmmph. So sad because the sandwiches are good. Not to the chain but to this restaurant in particular because of the bad and repeated service. Lucky for me there are other ones in the city. Many locations. Next time I will drive to Dixie instead.
Gaaahh, if you like Chinese food, Indian food and spicy stuff (hakka basically), this place is H E A V E N. From the outside the restaurant does not look that good but rather simple, but inside you will discover all the flavors you can taste. This compensates for the look. More importantly it is kept clean, and the staff is really nice. I already know them by name and they as well, even the owner. They even know what I prefer: crispy beef or manchurian, bombay chicken or hakka noodles.
Please remember to bring cash or debit, because they do not accept credit cards ! If the owner or manager reads this, please change this rule! This is my only request.
I am honest. I have never been to the store to eat pizza so I do not know how is the service there, good bad or slow. Sorry ! Ginos for me is only ordering online and eating it in my house from delivery. Whenever I am hungry and dont want to cook or eat out I order from Ginos. There are other things like starters you can order, like for example i get sometimes greek salad with my pizza. It is very fresh and comforting to know that. Pisa w/ pepperoni is my favorite, for only 12.99 for a medium size.
Love coming to Adobo for lunch or breakfast... everything, from the food to the service is terrific and makes you leave wanting more. The chef Charles, is simply amazing, and his creations are just great. A true 5-star chef ! I want to come here at least once a week to see what is new and get a taste of the food.
Another thing I like about here is that they truly care about making things right for the customer. The food is very fresh and prepared right at that instant, so you know it is not something old and put away. There is soups of the day but i usually go for a combo of quiche and salad. A confession I have is that their triple secker smoked meat sandwich is just mmmmm, yum, especially with the pickles.
I also wanted to add my input to this place. As the review person below said, apricot cafe is a great place to have a lunch or a break fast in a comfortable and relaxing setting. It might not be so attractive or fancy but it is stilll nice. When i come here i feel right at home, the place has really nice owners (Lately however it has started to become crowded) . The food is simple but fresh and especially, the desserts. They are delicious and made there! not bought from somewhere else so satisfaction is guaranteed.
I would advice for eating and trying the following items : black forrest crepe, apple cheese cake, qprosciutto panini also dont forget to check out the daily specials ! Prices are not cheap but it is good and custom made. Plus i feel good supporting a small independent local restaurant like this one. Keep it up !
Alioli is fine dining indeed ! The restaurant is very beautiful and comforting, most definitely one of those upscale, fancy and classy places. I go here with my parents or SO.
There is live music on weekends, fri and sat specifically. Perfect for a romantic date ! Like the quiona, linguini pescatore, and the osso buco, the latter which I seldom indulge in, because it is pricey: $32 for the plate. The place is expensive, but still can be found full...so make the according reservations before coming out here. Even though it is not cheap, I still frequent it every once in a while, as the food is really worth it. If you like pasta that is of course !
