The Blenz Coffee company at the Ladner Leisure Center in Ladner B.C has been overcharging for quite sometime now I have escalated the problem to the president of Blenz Sean Patterson who has done nothing about it and the only compensation that has been awarded to me is $15 Gift card which is a total insult shame on you Blenz in Ladner !!
Tried to reward the kids with a pizza party for doing a great job cleaning up the school grounds. I thought that I was speaking English...But I must have been wrong. Some kids don't eat cheese nor meat... But there were no cheese less nor meatless options for the kids. Try explaining to ride and hungry kids how incompetent some adults can be.
And try to get satisfaction from calling the complaint line... Good luck on your orders. And good luck getting them to bother solving the problem in the time needed, or getting a refund.
I don't see what big deal is.
Cold doughnuts with a variety of toppings that fall off and make a mess on the carpet.
I don't know why the icing falls off with the toppings...But I would think that after a couple of weeks, the baker would work it out and solve the problem. Not keep on making the same mistake for 46 years...Unless she's given up. Good thing, "all dogs welcome inside." It wouldn't be hard to out do this shop with a bit better doughnut and better everything else.
I suggest that if you do want to buy these hockey pucks...You park at Starbucks and pick up your coffee on the way back. Screw Starbucks.
Szechuan Style Chinese Food is very famous in China. National Geography Magazine Recommend Cheng Du as 2017 travel destination . Szechuan food is most important reason. Now, have spicy Szechuan food in Langley . Great Wall noodle restaurant is good for family , friend , small group in the weekend or evening , also good for working people for a quick 30 mins lunch .
I go to this Starbucks every day and have for the last three years. The baristas there are friendly and efficient, and know our orders by heart. They always greet us with smiling faces.
My partner said he didn't like Starbucks but I persuaded him to go and now its his favorite coffee place. He likes it better than his local coffee place which roasts their own beans because at Starbuck's the coffee always turns out exactly the same. He likes a Mocha with 3 shots of dark chocolate. He used to drink a Tuxedo (dark and white chocolate mix) but a barista let him taste the chocolates, and he realized the white was too sweet and he just wanted the dark. He also prefers Starbucks because they always get his drink 190 degrees, and when he orders it hot at his other coffee house, they sometimes get it hot enough and sometimes don't.
I love this store, and everyone in it. MJ16
This is probably one of the best bang for your buck italian restaurants in all of the greater vancouver regional district.
It's location is great - gas town.
It's price is very good when you factor in the freshness of the ingredients, taste and huge portions.
We came here tonight, party of 2.
The place is set up like a small, cozy brick cafe with a huge kitchen in the back due to the place also catering.
I assume because they cater, that allows them to provide fresh ingredients. Cheaper to buy in quantity.
This does not mean taste was sacrificed.
Everything is made IN HOUSE.
We ordered Gnocchi with Rustica Sauce, 3-kinds Ravioli (Mushroom, Spinach and Chicken) with Carbonara Sauce, Mixed Salad and Bean Vegetable Soup and ended the night with a chocolate brownie cake and tiramisu.
Gnocchi was chewie, great texture and fresh. The Rustica sauce was very flavorful, seasoned very well.
3-Kinds Ravioli was also very good, nothing much to say except very fresh and tasty.
The mixed salad was a delight. Most times, when you order mixed salads, it's just a few sad looking pieces of mixed leafy greens. This place tops it with cheese, long beans, cherry tomatos, roma tomatoes, asparagus - it's a party on a plate.
The bean soup was nice and thick - more like a hearty stew.
All this for only 67.00 and we had to pack up some stuff because we couldn't finish it all.
The waitresses are also super friendly and cute :)
Will be returning.
Unfortunately, the cake was terrible. It was for a 50th birthday (very special opportunity); we went there because we had been referred and our normal baker (Fratelli's) was away on holidays. We felt very disappointed in the cake, the service from head office staff and then the owner, afterward. It was bland, didn't taste like chocolate. It tasted more like butter, salt and a little bit of coffee. When we complained they justified it by saying they use milk chocolate, not dark chocolate, butter has salt in it and asked us if we were Chinese (?)...said they hadn't had a complaint in 41 years. So, apparently the take away is, if we were Chinese we would have been happy. We asked for our money back because we would never return and they said no.
Well, there's no more Pho Hoang. I really miss it! They made the best Bun Bo Hue in Metro Vancouver and they always had the best portions for your pho and very delicious soup! I always feel full after eating there! Now this new restaurant is overpriced for Vietnamese food, their portions are small, and the quality is average. The only thing they have going for them are the restaurant decor and their fantastic service! Hopefully, they can survive with that!
I tried this restaurant because I was in the area yesterday. It was the same as any other Vietnamese restaurants such as same portions and their soup were average. The only thing I didn't understand is why they charge $1 for extra bean sprouts when other Vietnamese restaurants do not? Other than that, nothing special.
I heard some great reviews from a friend, so I decided to try it. But when I looked at their menu, their Pho's were completely overpriced for Vietnamese food! Maybe the locals in Kerrisdale would pay for this price, but people from other areas would flinch. Who would pay for a large Pho which is $2 more than a small Pho? Other Vietnamese restaurants would charge $0.5 to $1, but I have never seen $2 more for a large! When I received my large Pho expecting to be something special, all I find are the portions are the same as a small which I saw someone eating on the next table and just more SOUP! And the flavours of their pho soup are just borderline average. I can eat at any other Pho restaurants for far less a price and eat the same type of Pho. Just so you know a small is $9 and large $11. So disappointing!
I've read a lot of reviews saying the delivery is slow and service is rude so I started ordering delivery and everything's fine.My friends and I always get food from there on Fridays and even though they say its busy the foods always warm and it tastes great. The pizza definitely deserves best pizza in ladner/tsawassen
I order from Niagara every week, and I always have amazing service.
Once I was told it was busy and I'd get my order in an hour - and it arrived in 45 minutes! The driver was very friendly and so were the girls over the phone. I like how they're very honest when delivery or pick up will take a while! The food never has disappointed me and I always try new things. My favorites are the everything pizza, the lamb souvlaki and the steak and garlic prawns!
Heres a tip - if you want to go and get something most places don't offer anymore, go on a weekend! They have their salad bar on! It's sooo good!
Overall a 10/10, go there if you want a nice night out with your S/O or even a family trip!
I went there only because I had a groupon. What a mistake. The pizza is subpar on every measure. It smelled and tasted bad. When I went the guy told me I could only have 2 toppings. I had to point out that the groupon was for any feast pizza XL. He grumbled and agreed. Wow a for a few slices of mushroom he grumbles at his customers!! If he doesn't like the Groupon deal then why did he sign on??? The cheese does not seem real, the sauce was not at all sweet and tasty. It seemed bitter and off. The few slices of mushroom were so thin they were not noticeable. The few green pepper bits were not nicely chopped and tasted bitter. I think they don't bother to trim the green pepper properly. The crust was tasteless and lifeless. We ended up throwing most of it out. Pizza is supposed to be fun and delicious!!! Maybe it's just this location. I won't waste my money or appetite to find out.
The place is not cheap but for a non-Jewish guy who has lived in Montreal and Toronto and as well spent time in NYC I have found the food outstanding from deli to baked goods.
And actually, I love the service; the management is not only friendly and of great assistance but also highly intelligent. Do I wish the cost of a meal were a little less expensive? Absolutely......but I love the place and I am willing to pay bit more for quality and service as well as to support a business owned by people whom I understand are worth my patronage.
It's probably the best Thai cuisine restaurant in the Lower mainland and there's no more caption needed but since I need fifty words I will say u should go there intsead of going to the others Thai restaurant.... the owner is really nice and the service was really great there's not much to say then it's great
The place is well decorated and the view is great, but the establishment isn't anything great beyond that.
The service was quite slow, and the food took a considerable time to arrive on what appeared to be a fairly average night (The place was about half full). For pub food, it was a bit below par, for food in general, it was quite mediocre.
Last time, when I was having lunch in pho Hoa, i saw a rat under my seat. I noticed the Waitor by that time, but he had ignored me. After that I saw inspectors came to Pho hoa. So I guess that wasn't 1st time had rats in store.
Today, when I drive by pho Hoa, I saw the store is closed , I think they were suspended by the city for hygiene reason.
But they have lie to us, that the store under renovation. I would never go back there again. So scary to eat w rats. PHO RAT!!!
The service used to be very good, but not so much now. The pastries are as good as any in the city, but I'm not willing to stand around and wait when I can go across the street and get really good service at Transylvania, which has a different but equally good selection. I wonder what happened, the staff seems to have changed.
Great fast and friendly service. Ice cold Draft Beer priced including the tax.
Best beer price in town and the pints are full measure.
Great pub food - love the deep fried pickles.
Great wings as well.
Great old style pub comfy in the "cheers" style.
Specialty Hot Dogs are a real treat. and priced right.
One of the few places left with NTN trivia.
Great sports bar with lots of screens for your favourite games.
I was craving a Peanut Buster Parfait.....went to the one on Kingsway on my way back home.....I usually go to the one in N. BBy carlton square?
Seems like a nice cozy place when I went inside....saw a man at the cashier first...then he went into the back and it looks very dark...not enough light....needs to be brighter....then I was thinking about getting chicken fingers with fries to go also....but I do not trust if the man or whoever is in the back washed their hands after handling the money.....and money is very very dirty....
The lady that took over....do not know if it was the wife....very pleasant and she knew what she was doing....efficient.....
when I got home I put the parfait in the freezer because I then wanted to eat a sandwich first....it wasn't as good as I remembered whenever I get this dessert....
Just I hope they put more light so its nice and bright and wash wash wash those hands.....please!!!!!!!!!!
Show the people what you did....put a small sink in the front for the employees.....I think they were the owners for this franchise.....
